ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — The aftermath of a car fire along the southbound lanes of Interstate 275 along the Howard Frankland Bridge caused major delays for commuters.
The fire happened around 5 a.m. and was eventually put out, Florida Department of Transportation traffic cameras show. However, as authorities worked to get the road clear, traffic was slow to get by.

There is no word yet on if anyone was injured in the car fire or what caused the fire.
