2 dead after crash involving motorcycle in Seminole, FHP says

Two people were killed after a crash between a car and motorcycle Tuesday night, Sept. 17 in Seminole.

SEMINOLE, Fla. — Two people are dead after a crash between a car and motorcycle Tuesday night in Seminole, Florida Highway Patrol said in a news release.

The crash reportedly happened around 10:47 p.m. when a 24-year-old St. Petersburg woman traveled westbound on 46th Avenue North before stopping at the intersection of Park Street North.

Meanwhile, a 49-year-old Mary Esther man on a motorcycle was traveling northbound on Park Street North, according to the agency. Troopers said the St. Pete woman failed to yield to the motorcyclist before entering his path, causing him to collide with the car.

Both drivers reportedly died from their injuries at the scene, FHP said. A passenger in the car, identified as a 23-year-old man from St. Pete, was reportedly taken to the hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
