FLORIDA, USA — Space enthusiasts may be on the edge of their seats as pending weather may delay the ViaSat-3 Americas mission launch of the Falcon Heavy Wednesday evening.

The 57-minute launch window is scheduled to open at 7:29 p.m. but weather conditions are currently 50% favorable for liftoff, SpaceX says.

The launch is scheduled to happen at Launch Complex 39A (LC-39A) at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center.

SpaceX says Astranis's first MicroGEO satellite and Gravity Space’s GS-1 satellite are aboard this mission too.

If the launch doesn't happen, the backup opportunity is set for Thursday, April 27 with the same launch window.
