HOUSTON (CBS Houston) — A video of a Houston high school softball catcher throwing elbows at two opponents crossing the plate is going viral.
The video – first posted by VYPE – shows the Needville High School softball catcher elbowing two Huffman Hargrave High School players crossing home plate during last Saturday's 4A championship game. The video has garnered nearly 2 million YouTube views as of Thursday morning.
"I was just on the ground and my helmet flew off," Hargrave player Demi Janak told KPRC-TV.

Janak was the first player elbowed to the ground during the game. A short while later, the catcher knocked down another Hargrave player.
"I think it fired them up to score some more runs, win the game and come out as champions," Huffman Independent School District Athletic Director Mike McEachern told KPRC.
The video appears to show the umpire not seeing the catcher throwing elbows. The Needville player did not speak to KPRC about the incident.
Janak says she does not hold a grudge for what happened.
"She did what she wanted to do in order to try and keep us from scoring, but it doesn't matter to me because we won overall," she told KPRC.
Hargrave defeated Needville, 6-4.
