JOHNSTOWN, Penn. -- Steven Stamkos got his old-time hockey pose on today with a snapshot of himself with the legendary Hanson Brothers, featured in the 1977 classic hockey movie Slap Shot.

Stamkos posted the picture on his Twitter account Tuesday afternoon. He is in town with the Tampa Bay Lightning for a preseason game against the Pittsburgh Penguins at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena in Johnstown, Pennsylvania.

If you were wondering the connection between the arena and the Hanson Brothers, it was the shooting location for the movie and the fictional home of the Charlestown Chiefs.

The preseason game is presented as part of Kraft's Hockeyville USA promotion. The town was selected as part of the company's first foray into expanding the Hockeyville contest into the United States. The contest has been going on for Canadian towns since 2006.

As part of winning the contest, the arena received $150,000 to make improvements to the scoreboard and to add new seats.
