USA, — Team USA's therapy dog, Beacon, has returned home after a recent hospitalization.

The beloved pup's owner, Tracey Callahan Molnar, posted an update on Instagram on Monday regarding the 4-year-old golden retriever's health.

"Beacon is home!! he’s home!" Callahan Molnar wrote.

Last week, Callahan Molnar said Beacon was admitted to an emergency pet hospital after experiencing symptoms of "stiffness, moving into labored breathing, and then fever. "

In Monday's update, Callahan Molnar said the staff at TrueCare for Pets worked to drain excess fluid from Beacon's chest cavity.

"Beacon is producing far less fluid likely because of meds, so that is trending in a good direction while we are still awaiting a diagnosis," she added in the post. "Beacon has some appetite, eating some of his meals on his own and me hand feeding him the rest. I’m happy to say beacon ate his entire dinner on his own."

Callahan Molnar said Beacon isn't "out of the woods yet" but thanked everyone for an outpouring of love and support.

"Please continue to keep 'the beaks,' a.k.a. the goodest boy in your thoughts," she added. "I will continue to keep you updated."

Although Beacon wasn't able to travel to Paris, he was Team USA's "Goodest Boy" at the U.S. Olympic gymnastics team trials.

Several Olympic gymnasts, including Simone Biles and Suni Lee, took photos with Beacon. See the social media posts below:
