PARIS, France — Savannah native and former contestant on the reality TV show "Survivor" Ryan Medrano competed in the men's 400m final at the Paris Paralympics on Tuesday.

- 1st place/ Gold medal: J. Blackwell, of the United States, final time: 48.49 (WR)
- 2nd place/ Silver medal: R. Medrano, of the United States, final time: 49.74

What season of 'Survivor' was Ryan Medrano on?
According to his Team USA bio, Medrano took up para track and field while competing on "Survivor" alongside Paralympain Noelle Lambert.
He and Lambert appeared on the show's Season 43 in Fiji in 2022.
"Would rather be covered in mud in Fiji, but these uniforms will do," Lambert wrote in a joint Instagram with Medrano.
