(USATODAY.com) - The last time these two teams met, Shabazz Napier's buzzer-beating jumper gave UConn a 65-64 victory. That just so happened to be Florida's last loss, as the Gators have rattled off 30 consecutive victories. UConn has been far from perfect since the last meeting but is riding a wave of momentum from upset victories against Villanova and heavily-favored Michigan State. Napier has been cold-blooded in these NCAAs, but he's needed his supporting cast to step up. Florida has no shortage of weaponry and has been rolling behind SEC Player of the Year Scottie Wilbekin. Both teams are playing much better than they were in December and are deserving to be in the Final Four. Which team wins? It's not that simple. BACKCOURT
Key Florida players: Scottie Wilbekin, Michael Frazier, Kasey Hill
Key UConn players: Shabazz Napier, Ryan Boatright, Niels Giffey
Advantage goes to: UConn. The Huskies have perhaps the best backcourt in the entire country behind dynamic guard Shabazz Napier and sidekick Ryan Boatright. Napier has been the best player in the NCAA tournament thus far, but Boatright's production has been instrumental in providing balance so it's not a one-man show. As good as do-everything point guard Scottie Wilbekin has been, Florida won't have the edge in this area and stopping the Huskies backcourt potency will take an all-around team effort defensively. That's alright, and Wilbekin can fuel the veteran-laden Gators without scoring. He'll need to continue to hit big shots like he's been doing.
FRONTCOURT
Key Florida players: Patric Young, Will Yeguete, Casey Prather
Key UConn players: Phillip Nolan, Niels Giffey, DeAndre Daniels
Advantage goes to: Florida. The Gators have a strong frontcourt and it starts with versatile forward Casey Prather, who leads the team in scoring and has jump-out-of-the-gym athleticism. And Patric Young is an interior beast who's great with pick and rolls and a physical specimen with great defensive instincts. Basically, the dude's got a linebacker body and basketball finesse. Either Will Yeguete or Dorian Finney-Smith will have to check dynamic forward DeAndre Daniels, who came alive with 27 points to carry UConn vs. Iowa State. Other than Daniels, the Huskies are shaky up front.
BENCH
Advantage goes to: Florida. The Gators are deep and get big boosts off the bench from Dorian Finney-Smith, Kasey Hill and Chris Walker. UConn, meanwhile, gets inconsistent production from Terrence Samuel and Amida Brimah.
COACH
Advantage goes to: Florida. Donovan led the Gators to back-to-back national championships in 2006 and 2007. And now Florida is in the Final Four after three consecutive Elite Eight trips. Billy the Kid is one of the game's best coaches and much of that starts with the culture he fosters within his program and the confidence he instills with his players. He's also not bad at the Xs and Os, either. Kevin Ollie, as up-and-coming as he is, isn't up to par with Donovan. Ollie's taken over a program that coach Jim Calhoun built and he's succeeded by ingraining a chip-on-their-shoulder mentality with the Huskies.
