NEW ORLEANS — Angel Reese usually doesn't hold back and she didn't over the weekend as she clapped back at her doubters and haters on social media following her graduation from LSU that was on Friday.
"So now what? what was said?" she said on X, formerly Twitter. oh okay that's what I thought. I graduated from THE LOUISIANA STATE UNIVERSITY in 4 YEARS ON TIME. I thought somebody without a college degree said sum."
Reese, who became a national sensation following LSU's national championship in 2023 and her trash talk with Caitlin Clark has had a whirlwind 15 months where she won a national championship, picked up major NIL deals, traveled the world, did a photo shoot for the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue, returned to school, sat out several games, led the team to the Elite Eight, was drafted by the WNBA and is now an LSU graduate.
Reese graduated with a degree in interdisciplinary Studies with concentrations and minors in Communication Studies, Leadership Development and Psychology.
Reese played two seasons with LSU, earning All-American honors both years.
