A certain vinyl spinning feline with the freshest beats in baseball is ready to cheer on the Tampa Bay Rays!
DJ Kitty and Raymond are both back to help fans cheer on the Rays as they begin their 2015 season.
Opening Day is this Monday, April 6 and the Rays will be taking on the Baltimore Orioles at Tropicana Field. First pitch is at 3:10 pm.
It's a whole new ball club for the Rays this year, under first-year manager Kevin Cash. But there are still plenty of familiar faces including Evan Longoria, Kevin Kiermaier and Opening Day pitcher Chris Archer.
The Trop itself will be offering some yummy new treats, with mac and cheese becoming a featured dish at the concession stands, and local eateries such as Taco Bus and Ricky P's having a ballpark presence. Microbrew fans will also appreciate local breweries such as Cycle Brewing, Green Bench and Cigar City -- among others -- being sold as well.
As we wait for Monday to arrive, take some time with DJ Kitty as he takes to the turntable.
