They were playing for all the marbles Friday night in Clearwater as the Countryside Cougars hosted the Pinellas Park Patriots. The winner of Friday's game advances to the playoffs as the district runner-up.
In the first quarter Countryside's Trent Chmelik connects with Givanni Gonzalez for the 26-yard touchdown.
Then late in the 4th and trailing by 3, Pinellas Park takes the lead on a 28-yard strike from Marcelus Ware to Jalil Crapps.
Pinellas Park went on to win 10-6, as they stamped their ticket for the state playoffs.
