TAMPA, Fla. — Tampa Bay Buccaneers Quarterback Baker Mayfield and his wife, Emily, welcomed their first child to their family on Tuesday.
Emily announced the birth of their daughter, Kova Jade, on Saturday on her Instagram story.
"She is truly everything we prayed for and more," she wrote.
She also posted a picture of Baker holding Kova and captioned it "My heart could explode at any minute, I swear, Bake was born to be a dad.”
The couple announced Emily's pregnancy in December in an Instagram post of a photo of them on the beach holding a sonogram with their dog lying next to them seemingly smiling.
The Bucs also posted on X announcing the news to their fans.
