Amalie Arena is going from ice rink to dirt rink Friday.
Three thousand tons, 170 truckloads of dirt, are being dumped onto the floor for this weekend's Amsoil Arenacross shows.
Professional dirt bike racers will show off their best stunts at 7 p.m. Saturday with doors opening at 6. Amateur Day will be held Sunday with the show starting at noon and doors opening at 8 a.m.
