A woman was injured after a truck crashed into a Carrollwood home Saturday night, Hillsborough County Fire Rescue officials said.
The pickup crashed through the front of the home about 6:30 p.m. in the 1200 block of Pepperdrive Drive in the Plantation area of Carrollwood, pinning a 71-year-old woman and her dog, who were on a couch.
Fire rescue crews needed more than a half-hour to free the victims. The woman was flown to St. Joseph's Hospital, where she is in critical condition.
The dog was not hurt.
