Update: ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - A woman attacked at a city park has died from her injuries, the St. Petersburg Police Department said Wednesday.
A city worker found Christie L. New, 43, in Lake Maggiore Park around 11:30 a.m. Thursday, March 1.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1(800)873-8477. Tipsters are eligible for a cash reward of up to $3,000.
The investigation is ongoing.
Original Story: ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. - A woman was found severely injured after she was attacked inside a city park.
Christie L. New, 43, was found by a city worker in Lake Maggiore Park on March 1.
She was taken to a hospital where she is currently in critical condition, St. Petersburg police said.
