Ah, summer. A beautiful time full of laughter, sunshine and barbecues.
However, we’re about to show you a photo that may make you NEVER WANT TO BARBECUE AGAIN.
It’s courtesy of the Colorado Association of Animal Control officers. According to their Facebook page, a homeowner in Westminster took a photo of a large bull snake that got a little bit too comfortable on their grill Saturday.
They say the snake was trying to get the baby birds in a robin’s nest up the tree.
If you find yourself in this (admittedly terrifying … especially if you don’t like snakes) situation, your best bet is to call animal control. Either that or to let it be: The snake will probably go away on its own.
This summer, the Colorado Association of Animal Control officers would also like to remind people to stay on the trails and keep their dogs on a leash.
They say bull snakes (like the one in the photo) can act like rattlesnakes and be aggressive.
