(USA TODAY) Police have cited a former Oregon State University student for public indecency after a 17-minute porn video of her in the Valley Library reportedly appeared online, according to a report on Eugene, Ore. station KEZI.
School officials said the woman allegedly appearing in the video, Kendra Sunderland, has not enrolled for winter term classes.
Students told KEZI they heard about the video on social media platforms that included Facebook, Twitter, and the Yik Yak phone app.
"My friend sent me a text about it," student Rich Rogers told KEZI. "At first I thought it was a joke. And then all of a sudden it was like, 'Oh no, it's real.' After I realized it was real, I was more shocked that it happened. That kind of stuff you do in private and not in public. Ever."
Students raised security concerns.
"I was surprised someone was in our library doing that," student Shelby Wilson told the TV station. "I feel like it's always packed. I don't know how anyone could get away with it."
University spokesman Steve Clark said security is a high priority. At the same time, the Valley Library has 340,000 square feet and is used by 30,000 people a week.
He said the school does not condone the activity in question.
