SAN ANTONIO, Texas (KHOU)-- UPDATE:According to KATU,Walmart spokeswoman, Danit Marquardt, confirmed that stores are pulling the costume from the shelves.
Earlier Story: As Halloween costumes begin to hit the shelves this fall, one 'naughty' outfit is turning heads -- parent's heads.
Walmart stores are now carrying a 'Naughty Leopard' costume for toddlers, according toConsumerist.com.
Although the name suggests a skimpy outfit, the garment bears little resemblance to a wild cat -- mostly black lace, lined with purple leopard-print trimming and ears.
The costume was spotted inside an unknown Walmart store. The retailer's website, however, does not offer the costume for sale -- at least not under the same name. Walmart.com lists the costume online as "Leopard Child Halloween Costume."
KENS 5 contacted the Walmart located at 5025 NW Loop 410 to see if the costume was being sold at San Antonio locations. A Walmart manager said the costume was not in-stock at the NW Loop 410 location.
According to Merriam-Webster, "naughty" is defined as either "vicious in moral character" or "lacking in taste."
