Concord, Virginia (WSET) -- A Virginia farmer believes he has the next big thing in skin care -- pig lard.
It's the main ingredient in his new line of beauty products called HealFast.
James Henderson of Concord debuted the line last weekend. He says lard heals acne, wounds, burns and scars. He says HealFast products are infused with essential oils and plant extracts, some of which are grown on his own farm.
He says lard is nature's best-kept beauty secret.
"We really do believe in the phrase 'praise the lard' here. It's amazing how healing it is," Henderson says.
