ANAHEIM, Calif. — "The Happiest Place on Earth" got a little less so when a man decided to strip naked and get into the water at Disneyland's "It's a Small World" ride.
The man's actions were caught on video which is quickly gaining traction on social media. One video, posted by Hunter Kost on Twitter, now called X, shows the man at one of the openings of the ride. He's already naked and proceeds to hop into the ride's water canal while a cast member tries to speak with him. The video lasts for a few seconds.
In the same post, Kost had another video showing police and security carrying the man away from the ride, presumably toward an exit. Disneyland security and cast members formed lines in order to potentially shield children and guests from seeing the naked man.
"Idiot — in front of all these kids," someone says on the video as the man is carried past the crowd.
A compilation video posted by Kost appears to show the "start to finish of the Disneyland streaker." The compiled clips show the man entering the ride, a pile of clothes by the side of the ride and even him sitting down amid the ride's animatronics for a few moments.
The story was first reported Sunday by the Los Angeles Times, which says the 26-year-old man was arrested by the Anaheim Police Department.
Citing a department spokesperson, the Times said officers responded to Disneyland around 1:30 p.m. to help theme park security with a guest who had taken off his clothes and "was naked in or near" the "It's a Small World" ride.
The spokesperson reportedly told People the 26-year-old was arrested for "indecent exposure and for being under the influence of a controlled substance."
