TAMPA, Fla. — There are reports of damage around the Tampa Bay area following strong storms that rolled through. Those storms brought powerful winds and heavy rainfall.
In Citrus County, there are fallen branches in the Pine Ridge area along Bedstrow Boulevard and Oakmont Drive. The sheriff's office is reminding everyone to drive carefully due to other potential hazards on the road as well.
Some storm damage has also been reported out of Holiday, with trees toppled over and branches down.
A tree fell on a Ford Escape at the Rogers Park Golf Course in Tampa. No one was injured.
