Back in December, single mom Melissa Wolf was chosen as an "exceptional service provider" by the travel insurance company Squaremouth.
As a surprise, she, as well as 19 other local servers in the St. Pete area, got $1,000 in cash!
Melissa is recently back to work after a 2-month recovery from her 6th surgery in the past 2 years. Melissa has Crohn's Disease. A week after she received the $1,000, she visited a world-renown surgeon in New York with hopes of a future without an ileostomy bag. Her young daughter, Willow, is her inspiration. The first $1,000 was able to pay her rent while she was out of work.
Despite Melissa's personal story, her customer service has been incredible - everyone who enters 3 Daughters becomes her friend, and her attitude is contagious.
That's why community members voted for her to receive the grand prize -- $10,000!
It almost left her speechless.
