When it comes to dinner, it isn't always how it tastes that makes it great. Sometimes, it's how it looks. If you want to make your next meal look a little more exciting and fun, we may have found the perfect kitchen gadget. It's called "Spirooli" and anchors Marty Matthews and Reginald Roundtree gave it a test run on “Try it Before you Buy it.”The "Spirooli" claims to slice, shred and chip practically any fruit or vegetable...it can even make those curley fries your kids love. The Spirooli comes with three different blades--to cut your produce in three ways. One strips it, another chips it and the last one slices.Marty Reg used the chipping blade first to try and make some curly fries. Before using the Spirooli, they cut off the end of the potato so there's a flat surface. Then they attached the potato to the prongs on the food holder. Finally, Reggie grabbed the lower handle in his left hand and cranked the other handle clock-wise with his right hand. Just as promised, out came long spirals of potato—perfect for curley fries. The Spirooli also worked well slicing a cucumber, but didn’t cut an apple well.Overall, Marty and Reggie liked the Spirooli.10 News bought the Spirooli on the internet for $12.99 plus shipping.
