SARASOTA, Fla. -- Sarasota Police have cleared a suspicious package at the 2500 block of 17th Street in Sarasota.
According to SPD, an employee from Hap's Cycle Sales reported a suspicious looking package in an adjacent parking lot around 9:00 a.m. Saturday.
SPD, working in conjunction with the Sarasota County Sheriff's Office, determined that no explosive materials were found.
17th Street has been reopened between Euclid and Lime Avenue.
