Universal Orlando shares details on Helios Grand Hotel

The 500-room, Mediterranean-styled hotel will be located at the resort's highly-anticipated Epic Universe theme park, slated to open in the summer of 2025.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Universal Orlando Resort is sharing new details about the 500-room Universal Helios Grand Hotel.

The Mediterranean-inspired hotel, co-owned by Loews Hotel & Co., will be located at the resort's highly-anticipated Epic Universe theme park, slated to open in the summer of 2025, officials said in a news release. It will also reportedly bring the resort's portfolio to a total of 11 hotels and 11,000 guest rooms.

Here are some of the amenities and details parkgoers can expect from the new hotel, according to officials:

  • Guest Rooms and Suites - Guests will be treated to "bright, inviting and warm guest rooms and suites, with many of the rooms offering great views of Epic Universe. Younger guests can enjoy imaginative suites based off the "How to Train Your Dragon" franchise.
  • Bar Helios - Offering "a delectable menu of creative tapas and familiar favorites," Bar Helios will provide guests with specially handcrafted cocktails and 360-degree views of Epic Universe.
  • Resort-style pool - Parkgoers can cool off after a long day at Epic Universe at the hotel's pool, complete with underwater speakers, poolside cabanas available for rent, a hot tub, poolside movies, and other activities.

Visitors can also look forward to a state-of-the-art fitness center, an arcade and a gift shop with Universal Orlando merchandise, officials said.

In addition, staying at the Universal Helios Grand Hotel will allow guests to experience exclusive theme park benefits, including Early Park Admission to enjoy select attractions and complimentary shuttle bus transportation to the theme parks, according to park officials.
