PLANTATION, Fla. — Several people are hurt after a shooting occurred Saturday night outside a Best Buy store in South Florida, authorities say.
At around 8 p.m., one person was seriously hurt and others suffered injuries, including two bystanders during a shooting at the store on West Sunrise Boulevard in Plantation, the Plantation Police Department told CBS Miami.
According to WSVN-TV, a group of four people were leaving the store when they were confronted by two other people. After an altercation occurred between the two parties, the group of two people fired a gun at the group of four, shooting two of them.
Some of the shots fired reportedly shattered the front window of the store and two bystanders, one of which was inside the building and another outside.
All of the people who were hurt in the shooting were taken to a hospital, CBS Miami reports.
Police have not yet said what caused the shooting or if the group of four people was targeted. The shooters have also not yet been identified or if anyone was arrested.
