ORLANDO, Fla. — An accident at Orlando Motocross Park on Sunday ended in the death of a dirt bike rider, multiple outlets report.

According to WESH, the Orange County Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to the scene of East Colonial Drive on reports of two dirt bikes colliding.

Once on scene, authorities reportedly found a man in his 30s, later identified as Chris Bragg. After falling off his bike during a jump, he was hit by another rider, the TV station explains.

He was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead.

WESH reports Bragg was a "popular local figure in the region's motocross community."

A GoFundMe page was set up in memory of Bragg and to help with funeral and memorial costs with a goal of $20,000.

"Chris was a mentor to many of us on the track and we were all blessed to have known him," the page organizer by the name of Phillip Whitehead wrote. "He was a father figure to many of the young men on the track and I know he sure was a second Dad to me."

All of the money donated will reportedly go toward funeral expenses, hospital bills, household bills and other expenses "to try and help with some of the stress and pain that they have to go through right now."

Funeral arrangements are set to be made within the next week.

"We will keep everyone posted on the future details," Whitehead wrote on GoFundMe. "Right now we need to [lift] Brandy, Bailey, and Kiley up in prayers."
