Previous story: A statewide Missing Child Alert has been issued for a 5-year-old boy from South Florida.
Cameron Dixon was last seen Friday in the area of Northeast 11th Avenue and Northeast 1st Street, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement. This is located near the Virginia S. Young Elementary School.
He is believed to have been wearing a blue shirt and black shorts.
Law enforcement officials said Dixon could be in the company of 37-year-old Leon Dixon. Both may be traveling in a 2019 gray Chevrolet Cruze with Florida license plate number AJ51GI. The car may have a large dent in the rear passenger door.
People are asked not to approach the two if they are located. Instead, call 911 or the Broward County Sheriff's Office at 954-764-4357.
