Missing Child Alert canceled after 1-year-old found safe, FDLE says

HIALEAH, Fla. — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement canceled a Missing Child Alert after issuing one Friday for 1-year-old Cassidy Mills out of Hialeah.

The girl has been found safe, FDLE said. The agency did not release any further information.

The alert states that Cassidy might be with 29-year-old Tasshay Mills. The two could be driving in a 2016, red Chevy Malibu with a Florida tag of BR06HG. Authorities are urging people not to approach Tasshay Mills or the car if you see either, and instead call law enforcement immediately.

Cassidy was last seen near the intersection of NW 37th Avenue and NW 54th Street in Hialeah. She was wearing a light-colored, patterned pajama shirt with pajama shorts and pink Crocs. She has her hair in braids and is said to have scrapes on the top of her forehead and her left eye. She has black hair and brown eyes, standing 2 feet, five inches tall and weighing 25 pounds.

Tasshay Mills was last seen wearing a grey, oversized t-shirt and white leggings with a pattern on them. She has long, braided hair. She has black hair with brown eyes, standing 5 feet, six inches tall and weighing 230 pounds.
