FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — Authorities say they have canceled a Missing Child Alert for a 12-year-old girl initially last seen in Fort Walton Beach, Florida. She was found safe.
Jaylee Jeffords was originally last seen in the area of Miracle Strip Parkway wearing a multicolored flannel long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and bright yellow Nike shoes, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement said in a news release.
