3-year-old girl missing out of Miami found safe

MIAMI — Update: The Florida Department of Law Enforcement says Shea Eminhizer is safe.

Previous story: The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) has issued a missing child alert for a 3-year-old girl out of south Miami.

Shea Eminhizer was last seen on Monday, June 24 in the area of Southwest 78th Terrace, FDLE said in the release. Authorities added she may be with 41-year-old Christine Betancourt.

The two reportedly may be traveling in a 2021 gray Volvo XC90 with Florida tag number IEX419 and a dark window tint.

FDLE described Shea as three feet tall and 40 pounds with blonde hair and brown eyes. Christine is reportedly 5'05'' with black hair and brown eyes.

Christine and Shea are believed to be traveling in this car, a 2021 Volvo XC90 with Florida tag IEX419.

Authorities say those who locate the two should not approach and immediately contact the South Miami Police Department at 305-663-6301 or 911.
