MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. — Update: The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has canceled the missing child alert for Jenayah Casimir.
The agency announced she was safe on Monday afternoon.

Previous story: A Florida Missing Child Alert has been issued for a 12-year-old girl out of Miami Gardens.
Jenayah Casimir was last seen in the area of Northwest 23rd Avenue and 184th Street in Miami Gardens, the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) said in the alert.
Casimir is described as a Black girl who is 5'2'' and 100 pounds with black hair and brown eyes. She was reportedly last seen wearing a black T-shirt and black gym shorts. Police added her hair is styled in long curly braids and that she wears hearing aids.
