JUPITER, Fla. — Other than gator sightings and Disney World, if there's one thing Florida is known for, it's a never-ending supply of beach towns for tourists eager to enjoy everything the Sunshine State has to offer.

One of those locations, Jupiter, was recently highlighted in an article from the renowned lifestyle publication "Southern Living," praising its clean waters.

Jupiter is located on Florida's southeastern coast just 30 minutes north of West Palm Beach. According to Living, the town has a "slower, more serene pace" perfect for relaxing. The publication also explained what makes Jupiter's waters so clear, telling its readers that the town gets people "as close as they're going to get to Caribbean waters without a passport."

But, how exactly can visitors experience Jupiter's clear water up close? TripAdvisor says the town's Clear Kayak Tours will provide them with a quick paddling adventure through a clear, transparent kayak where they can experience all the waterways offer.

Living also mentioned nearby Juno Beach, including the 990-foot Juno Beach Pier popular for fishing and sunset chasing. One of the town's landmarks, the Jupiter Inlet Lighthouse and Museum, was featured in the article for its bird's-eye-view of Jupiter's waterways.

According to TripAdvisor, the lighthouse was originally built in 1860 and includes various outdoor exhibits tourists can enjoy besides viewing the water. Those exhibits include the Oil House & Keepers Workshop, the Tindall Pioneer Homestead, and more.
