TAMPA, Fla. — Resources are available for those impacted by Hurricane Helene.

The storm brought extreme winds and a record-breaking storm surge to the Tampa Bay area as it made landfall as a powerful Category 4 in the Big Bend region Thursday evening.

The American Red Cross

The American Red Cross has opened dozens of shelters and disaster relief services in the Tampa Bay area. Here's a list of them:

Americares

You can give one-time or monthly donations to those impacted by Helene at Americares website.

All Hands and Hearts

All Hands and Hearts is accepting one-time or monthly donations.

Direct Relief

100% of donations given to Direct Relief go to storm recovery efforts. This includes emergency medical supplies, hygiene kits and transportation support.

GoFundMe
