FORT MYERS, Fla. — Update: The Florida Missing Child Alert was canceled on Nov. 1, 2024, after Graciela Lopez was found safe.

Previous story: Officials issued a statewide Missing Child Alert for a 17-year-old girl in the Fort Myers area.

Graciela Pascual Lopez, 17, was last seen Saturday, April 20, in the area of Central Avenue and Carrell Road, according to the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

Because of the ongoing months-long investigation, officials said they upgraded the case to a Missing Child Alert.

Lopez was believed to have been wearing a blue sweater with graffiti on the back, black and white pants and black and white shoes at the time of her disappearance. She is 5 feet, 5 inches tall, weighs 114 points and has black hair and brown eyes, authorities said.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call the Fort Myers Police Department at 239-321-7700 or call 911.
