Governor Ron DeSantis announced the entry fee waivers in a Tuesday press conference in Naples.

NAPLES, Fla. — Relish in all Florida state parks have to offer for free this upcoming Memorial Day weekend, as Governor DeSantis announced Tuesday that all entry fees will be waived.

In a press conference in Naples, DeSantis announced the waived entry fees to all Florida state parks on Memorial Day weekend from May 25 – 28. He also addressed the continued investment the state has made into state parks since 2019, which he said amounted to more than $440 million.

The National Park Service also waived entry fees during their National Park Week, celebrating “everything ‘parks,’” according to its website.
