FDLE: Missing 10-year-old out of Seminole County found safe

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement announced Carter Jourdain was safe on Monday night, shortly after the alert was issued.

ALTAMONTE SPRINGS, Fla. — FDLE has canceled the Florida Missing Child Alert for Carter Jourdain.

The 10-year-old was reported safe Monday night, shortly after the alert was issued.

A Florida Missing Child Alert has been issued for a Seminole County 10-year-old boy.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement says Carter Jourdain was last seen on Monday in the area of Jewel Drive in Altamonte Springs.

Authorities say he is 5 feet tall, 130 pounds with black hair and eyes. He was also last seen wearing a green shirt, green shorts and may be carrying a book.
