ORLANDO, Fla. —
This year, you can eat and drink around the world before venturing to a galaxy far, far away.
Epcot’s International Food & Wine Festival returns Aug. 29 and will run a record-breaking 87 days through Nov. 23.
Aug. 29 is the same day Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge opens at Hollywood Studios. If you think the opening day of the Food & Wine Festival will draw away crowds from Galaxy’s Edge, you seriously underestimate the power of the force.
The Food & Wine Festival has been the Super Bowl for foodies and craft beer lovers for the past 24 years. Every year, outdoor kitchens pop up around Epcot’s World Showcase and Future World and serve national and international cuisine alongside local brews, imported craft beers and cocktails.
Last year, Florida had more than a dozen craft beers and wines featured at the festival.
New this year, the festival’s concert series will bow out before the food does. Nightly concerts will run until Nov. 19 to make way for the Candlelight Processional during the Festival of the Holidays.
Epcot’s Christmastime festival kicks off Nov. 29 and runs through Dec. 30.
