ORLANDO, Fla. — Walt Disney World, "The Most Magical Place on Earth," has raised prices on its four annual passes, with its most inclusive, the "Incredi-Pass," being hiked up by $100.

The new prices for Disney World's four annual passes compared with those from October 2023 are as follows, according to the official website:

  • Disney Incredi-Pass - $1,549 (plus tax), up from $1,449 (plus tax)
  • Disney Sorcerer Pass - $1,079 (plus tax), up from $999 (plus tax)
  • Disney Pirate Pass - $829 (plus tax), up from $799 (plus tax)
  • Disney Pixie Dust Pass - $489 (plus tax), up from $439 (plus tax)

Disney's "Incredi-Pass" is the only annual pass available to guests from outside of Florida and has no blackout dates.

Perks for annual pass holders at the Orlando resort receive free parking and discounts on entertainment, dining, shopping, recreation, and more. In addition, they won't have to pay for individual tickets for the resort's four theme parks.

In CNN's report on the price increase, Gavin Doyle, founder of MickeyVisit.com, said Disney World tickets have increased up to 101% while the top-level annual pass has increased by 86%.

“If you are willing to be reactive to discounts and travel during the less in-demand periods of time, you’ll be rewarded with lower crowds and prices,” Doyle told CNN.

This isn't the only upcharge Disney has given to guests this year. Earlier this month, Disney announced its plans for a new kind of "fast pass," and it has caused sticker shock for some.

Its Lightning Lane Premier Pass debuted at Disneyland on Oct. 23 and will debut at Disney World on Oct. 30. The pass is for one-time entry to each available Lightning Lane experience at the theme parks, and guests will still need to purchase a separate admission ticket to enter the parks.

At Disney World in Orlando, Florida, the Lightning Lane Premier Pass will be available to guests staying at its deluxe resorts, deluxe villa resorts and certain other hotels. Pricing will vary, depending on the date and which theme park is being visited (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios). Disney said that prices will range from $129 to $449 per pass at launch, with the highest prices occurring on a limited number of days over peak travel periods.
