VERO BEACH, Fla — A search is underway for a man who was last seen swimming off the east coast of Florida.
Michael Christy, 46, was wearing gray shorts and swimming near Vero Beach before he was reported missing, the U.S. Coast Guard Southeast said early Sunday morning in a post on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Air and surface crews with the Coast Guard searched for the 46-year-old on Sunday night and are continuing to do so throughout the daytime on Monday.
