FORT MYERS, Fla. — A man was airlifted by a U.S. Coast Guard Clearwater crew after he was experiencing abdominal pain off the coast of Fort Myers on Saturday.
The man was on a fishing boat about 33 miles off Fort Myers, according to an X post. The crew took the man to emergency medical personnel at the Fort Myers High School football field where he was then transported to Lee Memorial Hospital for care.
