BROOKSVILLE, Fla. — Residents in two Florida cities will have a new place to shop soon, as BJ’s Wholesale Club announced the opening of new stores Tuesday.
The cities of Brooksville and St. Johns near Jacksonville will be home to two new BJ’s locations as part of the company’s goal to expand nationally. These stores, with no known addresses, will be the 40th and 41st locations in the state, according to a BJ’s news release.
Four more stores are scheduled to open in cities across the Southeast and Midwest by next year as well — the company plans to move into Louisville, Kentucky for the first time in 2025, serving as BJ’s 21st state for business.
The company says the new openings are expected to create about 150 jobs, as it will be looking to hire employees soon for the new locations, the release said.
