If you thought living on the second floor would prevent alligators from trying to get into your home, you might want to think again.
An alligator was found on outside of second-floor condo Wednesday in Naples.
The trapper who nabbed the gator, Ray, said the reptile was a 5-foot-long female.
NBC2-WBBH said painters found the gator.
“I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: Gators can climb,” Ray said.
Ray said he’s been trapping gators for about seven years and he’s seen them climb even higher spaces.
Ray said the best thing for people to do is check their surroundings for wildlife.
