(CBS SPORTS) -- The 2015 Gold Glove Awards were announced Tuesday night during a live ESPN2 broadcast. Three finalists at each position in each league were announced two weeks ago.
Managers and coaches around the league cast votes and account for 75 percent of the selection process. (They only vote within their league and can not vote for their own players.) The remaining 25 percent is a statistical component.
Tampa Bay Rays centerfielder Kevin Kiermaier won the Rawlings American League Gold Glove Award on Tuesday night.
Kiermaier, who drew a big following for spectacular catches, was second among centerfielders in the American League with 410 putouts.
Kiermaier started 129 games in center, notching a .988 fielding percentage, according to the Rays website.
