TAMPA, Fla. — A line of severe storms swept across Tampa Bay Friday.
Duke Energy reported there were more than 5,500 people without power at 3 p.m.
At 5 p.m. Duke Energy said there were just under 1,000 customers without power. A spokesperson for Duke Energy said their online outage map was down.
TECO reported there were more than 8,000 people without power at 3 p.m.
Pasco County has about 1,935 residents without power. Hernando County has about 18 without power, and Sumter is reporting one power outage.
