President Obama to campaign for Andrew Gillum in South Florida

The former president will join Gillum on Friday in Miami.

MIAMI -- In between visits from President Donald Trump, former President Barack Obama will head to Miami this week to campaign for Andrew Gillum.

This visit was announced Monday by the Florida Democratic Party and Gillum's team, according to CBS4 Miami. Both Obama's and Trump's visits come just days before the Nov. 6 election.

Obama will also campaign for U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson at the Friday rally.

Trump will have a "Make America Great Again" rally on Halloween in Lee County, followed by another on Sunday in Pensacola.
