Rosalynn Carter intentionally curated her service to have music woven throughout the kind words and favorite Bible verses spoken from her podium.

Former President Jimmy Carter, Rosalynn's husband of 77 years, took his spot in the front row in what's been his second public appearance this year.

On Tuesday, current First Lady Dr. Jill Biden was joined by all of the living former first ladies who have also filled the East Wing in the White House - the very office Mrs. Carter shaped.

Former first ladies Melania Trump, Michelle Obama, Laura Bush, and Hillary Clinton were in the front row, honoring the life and legacy of the woman who paved the path they walked as a testament to the unspoken sisterhood they share and her wisdom on how to make the role their own.
