HILLSBOROUGH COUNTY, Fla. — In addition to electing the nation's next president, Floridians will soon be voting on several major state races and amendments.
Election Day 2024 falls on Nov. 5 this year, and some people may be wondering how exactly they'll be getting to the polls to cast their ballot.
Below is a running list of Tampa Bay-area counties offering free rides to the polls on Election Day 2024.
Hillsborough County
The Hillsborough Area Regional Transit Authority says it will provide voters a free lift to the polls on Election Day. A valid voter information card is required to use the service.
Riders are encouraged to map out their route in advance. To do so, head to the HART Trip Planner.
Pasco County
GoPasco County Public Transportation will be offering free rides to the polls from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Election Day. All you have to do is present a valid voter information card.
