Tampa Bay election results county-by-county: Full list

As of Wednesday at noon, Trump garnered 56.1% of Florida's vote while Vice President Kamala Harris received 43% of the vote.

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — With nearly 100% of the votes counted in Florida less than 24 hours after the polls closed on Election Day, Sunshine State voters delivered a victory for former President Donald Trump, now President-Elect Donald Trump.

The Associated Press projected the race would go to Trump in Florida at 8:01 p.m., just 61 minutes after the polls closed in the Tampa Bay region. As of this writing, Trump garnered 56.1% of Florida's vote while Vice President Kamala Harris received 43% of the vote. That equated to a 1.4 million vote difference.

Here in Tampa Bay, the vote reflected that of the rest of the state.

Every county in the Tampa Bay area is projected to go to Trump. In fact, as of this writing, only six of Florida's 67 counties are projected to go to Harris: Gasden County, Leon County, Alachua County, Orange County, Palm Beach County and Broward County.

Florida's vote reflects that of the majority of the country, according to Associated Press projections. The AP called the presidential race for Trump on Wednesday. Trump will be inaugurated as the nation's 47th president on Jan. 20, 2025.
