ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — Florida holds its primary election on Aug. 20, 2024, and the latest results will appear on interactive maps below.
Check out this page for a county-by-county breakdown of election results as they come in Tuesday evening from across Tampa Bay-area counties, including Citrus, Hardee, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Manatee, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk and Sarasota.
Races are unofficially called by The Associated Press once enough votes are tallied.
Only one statewide race is on voters' ballot: The Senate seat currently held by Republican Rick Scott. Scott defeated his primary challengers and will face former U.S. Rep. Debbie Mucarsel-Powell, a Democrat who prevailed in her primary election, in the November general election.
